Forty
Developmental Assets The
Framework of Forty Developmental Assets.
Developmental assets
represent the positive relationships, opportunities, skills,
and values that promote the positive development of all children
and adolescents.
The developmental
assets framework grew out of Search Institutes research over
the past decade. The theoretical underpinnings of the framework
reside in the research pertaining to risk and resiliency,
prevention, and health promotion.
